Level 1 classes are perfect for beginners and also suitable for improvers.
These classes provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere to help you settle in quickly and easily. A wide range of postures are taught to develop strength, stamina and flexibility and offering plenty of challenges for improvers too.
The Tuesday 1:30 – 2:30 pm & Friday 10:00 – 11:15 am Level 1 classes are ideal if you are looking for a gentler class with more time for relaxation.
Level 2 classes are more challenging and you should have at least 6 months Iyengar yoga experience.

Students will be developing their home practice and some postures from the Intermediate syllabus will be taught. Work is more intensive than Level One, and you’ll be introduced to a wider variety of asanas and basic pranayama will be introduced.
