Are you new to yoga and don’t know which class to choose? We have 13 classes running 7 days a week, so there is sure to be something for everyone. Here’s some more information to help you decide.
Level 1 is perfect for beginners and also suitable for improvers.
The Tuesday 1:30 – 2:30 pm & Friday 10:00 – 11:15 am classes are less challenging and are ideal if you prefer an easier class with more time for relaxation.
Level 2 is more challenging and you should have at least 6 months Iyengar yoga experience.

Level 1 Classes
These classes provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere to help you settle in quickly and easily. You will be introduced to the basics of Iyengar yoga in a safe and carefully structured way providing a sound understanding of how to practise safely so you can experience the many benefits of Iyengar yoga. A wide range of postures are taught to develop strength, stamina and flexibility and offering plenty of challenges for improvers too.
Level 2 Classes
Suitable for students with at least 6 months Iyengar yoga experience who are proficient in all introductory poses and Salamba Sarvangasana (shoulder stand) and should be working towards a 5 minute stay in Sirsasana (head stand).
Students will be developing their home practice and some postures from the Intermediate syllabus will be taught. Work is more intensive than Level One, and you’ll be introduced to a wider variety of asanas and basic pranayama will be introduced.
