Want to pay cash? No need to book, just pay cash on arrival. If you can’t make the same class every week you may swap to another session. All classes must be taken before the end of the payment block and may not be rolled over. Fees are non-refundable.
Wednesday 9:30 am Level One Class
This class is suitable for beginners and improvers. If you are new you will find the friendly and welcoming atmosphere will help you settle in quickly and easily. Improvers will be offered plenty of challenges, as your teacher will provide the opportunity to work more deeply in the poses when you are ready.
You will be introduced to the basics of Iyengar yoga in a safe and carefully structured way providing a sound understanding of how to practise safely so you can experience the many benefits of Iyengar yoga. A wide range of postures will be taught to develop strength, stamina and flexibility. Also, they provide a solid basis from which to move on to Level 2 Iyengar yoga classes that will allow you to progress further. Your teacher will advise you when you’re ready to move up to the next level.
Inversions including Salamba Sarvangasana (shoulder stand) and Sirsasana (headstand) are also introduced.
