Clare’s previous workshops at the iYoga Centre have been very popular. This shorter workshop is suitable for everyone including beginners. It is ideal if you would like to try a workshop for the first time and experience working in more detail, trying new ways of practising and deepening your understanding of yoga. As in a class situation, poses can always be adapted if you are not able (yet) to complete the full pose.
Clare has been in Pune, India during February 2018 for an intensive month of classes at the Iyengar Institute learning from senior teachers and the Iyengar family. She will be full of enthusiasm and have lots to share at her workshop.
Clare first started Iyengar yoga classes in 1995 to escape from a very busy demanding job in order to find some quiet ‘me’ time. After practising for 22 years and qualifying as an Junior Intermediate III Iyengar teacher, Clare has enjoyed the transition where yoga is now not just an escape, but is incorporated into everyday life. She says it permeates everything from the way she sits, to the way she sees herself. Clare is enthusiastic about teaching others the amazing benefits of Iyengar yoga and showing how it becomes more than just a physical exercise.
